Interesting Holster idea
I was searching for some extra mags on fleabay and came across this holster. It is for a p380 or pm9, and I thought it was an interesting concept. So many people out there these days have blackberries on their hips in cases, do you think you could get away with this for normal use and probably 90% of the people would never notice?

I bet it would work. So many people now days walk around like inspector gadget who would know. The Taurus 738? actually comes with a similar belt case like that. Some of our officers actually hung the case on their duty belt, looks like a generic phone, cuff whatever pouch.

I saw a lot of those (similar models) at the gun show in Tulsa a few months ago. They also had matching ones for actual cell phones.

Would conceal the weapon from most angles BUT if someone was at the exact right angle (say you have it strong-side hip and someone is behind you) they will be able to tell it is a pistol (thanks in part to the silver floorplate on the flush-fitting mags). One other thing is that it could be argued that since the weapon is out in plain sight the weapon is not "concealed" and therefore violates the CCW laws.

No thanks. I have enough crap right there on my belt another pouch would look rather suspiccious anyway. Plus I prefer IWB, and I think too much gun shows on that rig. He can keep it.

Cool idea, but is a little risky for me. I rather keep carrying in my pocket or IWB.

This type of holster has been popular with pocket gun carriers for a while. Most that I've seen are enclosed with no grip butt showing. There is discussion as to whether it constitutes open or concealed carry???

Looks like it needs a little kydex to cover up the open sides. I think you maybe could get away with the P380, but PM9 or PM40 is probably too big. Thats a big maybe though. I like the idea, just needs better concealmeant.

I agree. You can bundle just about anything on your belt (more under your shirt) without question these days. Acting real natural helps a lot.*But if observers are able to*SEE a pistol grip or magazine means YOU'RE BUSTED. And it could get ugly.
