Default PM9 Sight Question

All - I recently purchased a PM9 in Black with factory night sights. Great gun so far!

I have been having a little trouble hitting the bulls eye though, I keep hitting to the left.

When I got home from the range yesterday, I took a good look at the rear site and got out my 1/64th ruler. The rear sight is 1/64th to the left, 6/64ths on the right, 5/64ths on the left.

My basic question - does this matter? I talked to Kahr briefly today, of course they want the gun for 4 weeks to check it out, which may be the right thing to do.

What do you think?

1/64th" will give you about 1" correction at 10 yards.
Have you bench rested the pistol and shot it? Let someone else shoot it?
There's seems to be a phenomenon with some striker fired guns in which shooters new to them shoot low and/or left (for right hand shooters; low and/or right for lefties). It's pretty common with Glocks and to a lesser extent with Kahrs.

Greg

I am planning to have someone more familiar with the gun shoot it before I send it back.

Thanks!
