Smile Just layed away a CW45

I just finished laying away a CW45 at Buds. I did it this way before the price change and the mag offer expired. I am leaving in a few days for a Trans Atlantic cruise starting in Barcelona Spain. I won't be home unti Nov 14, so I figured to have it waiting for me when I get back. Now all I need to do is start buying ammo.

Hope you enjoy your CW45 experience. Mine did need to go back to Kahr for some major reworking but they had it back to me in exactly one week, and it's been flawless since. I really enjoy shooting it now when I get the chance.

That's pretty neat.

Have you considered canceling your cruise so that you could put the money towards the CW45 and .45 ACP ammo?

Hope you have a wonderful Trans Atlantic cruise....

Rota Spain, that brings back some memories. Prep that CW, per the sticky, and shoot it a bunch, shoot it more rinse and repeat. You'll enjoy it.

I have thought about canceling the cruise. The only problem is that then my wife would use the CW45 on me and I wouldn't get to even shoot it.

According to some of these threads, you wouldn't have to worry about the wife. The first round wouldnt feed or would be a light primer strike! Ok I am just kidding, enjoy the gun, and let us know how she runs.

Don't spend a bunch of time on prep until you get to the range for the first time. Other than cleaning and adding a Hogue Handall Jr., I've done nothing to mine and it's been a fantastic pistol. If you are hell bent on prep, then by all means feel free to do so.

Unhappy

I will have time to do the Prep. My wife said it was a Christmas present and I can't shoot it until Christmas.
