K9 Adjustable Sight ???
Hello all, I have just bought my third Kahr pistol (a K9) and am planning to do some modifications to make it my version of the "perfect packing pistol". I want to start with the sights. My preference is for a low profile adjustable rear sight in all black finish and a tritium front sight. I have found plenty of front sights, but am having trouble finding the rear sight. Any ideas where I might be able to find this?
Thanks!

Hi, I was going to say something about MMC adjustable sights. I saw something here recently at the company site, I believe. I couldn't find it so I Googled them and found some very negative stuff, so scratch them off your list. That's all I could think of, but there's always Google. Just check out the companies -- Buyer beware!

Don't you think a black target sight would be hard to quickly acquire, (with your eyeball that is)? Especially in any dim setting, I'm not sure that would make for a "perfect packing pistol". Just wondering.
MMC popped into my head too, but I think the only ones that fit Kahr have either white or tritium dots.

I used to shoot IPSC matches and found that for me, I get the fastest and most accurate shots with a black rear sight and white or tritium front sight. It really is just a personal preference, no science to back it up other than match scores.
The reason I want an adjustable rear is to all me to tune the point of aim/impact with different ammo. Even with the same brand ammo, I see some differences for batch to batch of ammo.

I swear that I saw the MMC sights listed on the Kahr Accessories site not too long ago, but after seeing some really negative stuff ... fraud and one guy unable to get his expensive .45 slide back... finally getting a new one fitted to the remaining half of his expensive 1911 at his own expense! I decided better safe than sorry on that company, however good they were in the past.
ALWAYS check companies out on the 'Net! AND... make sure you get to the correct site. You can misspell or otherwise incorrectly enter an address and there will be something or someone there waiting to take advantage of you or misdirect you. They cover every possible way to screw up an address!
Buyer Beware for sure.
