I got way less cr*p for selling my CM9 than I anticipated so I figured I'd show what I'm carrying now. For those that remember, I sold my CM because the wifey could NOT function the weapon. I gave her my PPQ, which left a void on my permit, so I added my Glock 23, then I had the grip cut to accept Glock 27 magazines. Once I picked it up I added a Pearce +1 pinky extension to it, removed the finger grooves, and stippled the grip. This thing all but disappears while I am carrying it with the short grip. PLus I am able to keep the longer sight radius, as well as the front rail. For now it works, but I still long for a K-9 or 40, elite. I know it will be polarizing, but this works for me.

I personally like a 4" barrel with a two finger grip myself.
I've got a G27 with barrels and mags for 9mm/40 and 357.
With a smooth trigger, Ghost Rocket 3.5 & Big Dots shes my EDC. If anyone says you can't be accurate with a baby Glock? I've got message for them.

Barth,
I agree 100% on the accuracy. Suprisingly, I am shooting this extremely accurate. I'm still running factory sights and trigger. I did polish the trigger parts, and add an extended slide release. I may add the 3.5# connector in time, but it's pretty good now.
Nice 27 BTW!

Oh, you left out deafness.

I can't believe I waited 20+ years to finally port a gun?

Oh the Horror!
This guy fired his ported gun and just look what happened!

I'm a Glock fan, so I like it, cjjohn. Who did your grip work? Looks good.

Thanks Melissa. I had a local smith mill/cut the grip. Then I did the rest myself. I wanted a grip reduction, but wanted the channel in the butt so I heated and re-formed the butt instead of filling it with epoxy and grinding a bunch off. Then I ended up grinding off the Finger grooves. The stippling was actually the easy part and went pretty quick. I practiced on a couple of things then just went for it. I'm pretty happy overall with the results. A lot of people will complain about "resale value", but I've only sold one gun my entire life, the CM9. This was a gun that didn't get shot or used because it didn't fit, now it does. I've shot it more in the last couple of weeks than in the last few years I've owned it.
