Just a question on ammo. Came across some +p+ 124 gr. JHP, are these ok for the CM?

Mixed reviews on that issue. Over the life of a gun , a few won't hurt it.

JJ:
I personally have made the decision that +P+ ammo will not be fired through my PM9.
My reasoning takes into account that SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute) has specific pressure specifications for +P designated ammo.
Whereas +P+ has NO SAAMI specifications and it is the Ammo manufacturers own idea on what is appropriate and safe. Not a chance that I wish to take with my firearm and my safety.
The decision is yours alone.
But by all accounts the velocity increases of +P+ over +P are minimal at best. So what is the reason to over stress your weapon and compromise your safety.

I'd say proceed with caution.
If you damage the gun or yourself with +p+, Kahr won't cover any of it.

MY question would be WHY would you want +P+, but
Kahr says +P is OK for all Kahrs, BUT +P+ is NOT!
This is stated in the manual and the also under-used F.A.Q.'s at Kahr.com.

Welcome to KahrTalk!
Not trying to be a wise guy but once you start contemplating 9mm +P+ you might as well start thinking .40 S&W, sig .357 and .45.

Thanks to all. I recieved some good advice from all responders.
I'm fairly new to this site (02-12) and happy to be here. My question was answered. I have a .45ACP, .44Mag., .357 Mag., .41 Cal., .40 S&W,soooo...9mm +p+ doesn't make any sense, Guess I just washed out there for a spell. JJ

Good decision. I only have one 9mm, a PM9, but it only gets standard pressure ammo. The same also goes for my 45's and 40's.
BTW, welcome!
