New P380 Today - WOW!

Just picked it up today from LGS. It has a RC2 prefix. I brought it home for the prep and lube and have drawn on every non-living thing in the house today. The little monster feels WAY better than I ever imagined and will be shot tomorrow. I have completed the prep and lube, and I have it sitting with me now. :D

Now I just need a killer pocket holster and a couple new mags. The 7 round mag is just weird to me. I will search the threads, but let me know if you feel strongly about any particular pocket holster.

I usually carry my P380 in a DeSantis Nemisis Pocket Holster...Fits great and really does not print...

do you like kydex or leather? Kydex try pjholster, stellar rigs, leather try james dean gunleather on here.

For $35 delivered, you cannot beat one of James Dean's leather pocket holsters for your P380! Very thin. Perfectly molded. Beautiful! Slighty thinner horsehide is about $10 more. But I chose the leather - finest Herman Oak leather - and am very satisfied.

I recently tried a holster from http://stickyholsters.com/
It can be used IWB or in the pocket. Works great for me in both locations.
The only downside is that you can not one handed re-holster. The SM-2 is the size for the P380. The SM-3 is the same but designed for pistols with the Crimson Trace Laser Guard. In anticipation of eventually getting the laser, I opted for the SM-3. The pistol fits the holster just fine without the laser.

I use a DeSantis for my P3AT and a modified by me Alabama pocket holster for my PM9. The PM9 in the Kydex Alabama holster is as thin a package as my .380 in the DeSantis. I'm very happy with both holsters (Alabama modified) but will tell you the the Kydex has put some markings on the polymer frame of the PM9 down near the muzzle end and also that the draw from the Kydex does make a noise. No noise that I can hear drawing from the DeSantis.
