Took my son to Cabela's today,he was looking for a Ruger MKIII .22.He found a used MKII that he liked so he got it.While I was waiting on him to get through with paperwork I wandered over to look at the used guns. They had a CW45 in the case marked $329 so I asked to see it.Got it out and it had trigicon night sites,I'm thinking Great deal,I'll take it.He pulls the case out for it and there is another factory 6 round mag in it.So $353 out the door for CW45,2 6 round factory mags,Trijicon night sites installed case and all paperwork.Got home,Cleaned up the machineing on the front of slide, took mags apart and modified followers so they don't had on mag latch, polished feed ramp, cleaned and lubed.Hope to get to the range and see how it runs tomorrow.

Quite a good deal. Congrats.

I had a similar experience years ago when I spotted a very nice, used HK P7 fpr sale. I bought it and almost cried tears of joy when the clerk brought the box out full of magazines!!! Not only was the original price hundreds of dollars low, but this was icing on the cake. Sometimes life is good. :D

Very nice, and BTW, welcome to the forum. I've had two CW45's, the first was traded on a PM45, and never had a problem. Even though it almost my cheapest [in price] pistol, my CW45 in on my belt about 80% of the time and the Kimber, HK's, SIGs, and STI stay in the safe.

Super deal, are the night sites still bright? Even if they aren't that is still a great deal. I hope it functions well for you and wasn't someone's problem child. If it was, let's hope it was shooter error and not the gun's fault.

Night sites are still bright.Made it to the range today, put 100 rounds through it,S&B 230 gr. fmj,Win. 230 gr hp,230 gr. lead reloads and it was flawless. The only thing it wouldn't feed was 200gr. semi-wadcutters,didn't expect them to work, they don't in my other CW45.Real pleased with it.

I have always felt that the #1 reason most trade their kahr sin is due to never getting the hang of the looooong but smooth trigger system. If there accuracy is not as good as let sasy their glock or 1911 then it is gone. U did well, and u got a nice gun, even if it is a 45..

It wouldn't suprise me if last owner had feed problems. The follower on both mags would hang on the mag release until I modified them. They had also oiled the hell out of the firing pin channel, was full of oil & crud.I'll put at least 100 rounds more thru it(with wifes help)and it will be her carry gun.
