Yep, this was discussed last week. Should be an announcement at SHOT then we'll start seeing them show up.

I'm figuring that the P380s will start having that same beveled slide. I'm glad I got one when I did.

Nah. That beveled slide is part of the cost saving measures, just like the other CW guns. The P380 will stay the same and be available in DLC finish, with night sights and CT Laser options.

Still has the 2.58 barrel and the 6+1 mag . Just a typo. Maybe a cm380 version

The less expensive version of the P9 is the CW9.
The less expensive version of the P40 is the CW40.
The less expensive version of the P45 is the CW45.
Thus, the less expensive version of the P380 is the CW380.
The CM pistols are less expensive versions of the PM pistols.
We will be seeing a CM45 hit the market next year, too.

In all reality, the street price will be between $379 and $399. At that price,I do not think that the LGS will be able to keep them on the shelf very long...

I'll be waiting to buy one just as soon as they are released. tom.:D

If they can't get the P380 right, why would you want a cheaper version of it? Although the complaints seem fewer and farther between, is that because no one carries a P380, or did they finally get it figured out? I'm waiting on the CM45. It's also listed on Gallery of Guns, with 0 available. I am supposed to get some emails when a couple companies get them in. They had em marked in the $380 range for now.

The PM9s changed to the beveled front when the CM9s came out.

I guess I have been a lucky one my p380 works good. Talked to kahr cs the other day they said the info will be available for the cw380 at the shoot show. Like you I'm supposed to get an email when the cw380 becomes available .I have seen one advertised at $333.00. I'm hoping to find one cheaper.

I'm betting they have gotten it figured out. Can't see them introducing a new model when they are still having issues with one already out. Also, one of the CW380 may just find a home in my front pocket:D

I'm liking that price point. I too have been very lucky with Kahr pistol QC. tom.:D

I'm going to wait about a year for the prices to really hit bargain level, and to see how dependable they are.

Well, Tom, I have my Taurus 738 TCP that is working out well as my 380 BUG. IMO, the TCP is superior to the LCP and P3AT, and only bested by the P380. I paid < $200 for it, it has a lifetime warranty and when it had a couple of issues they had FedEx pick it up, they addressed the issues and returned it in 2 weeks. I am going to continue to put breakin rounds thru it. The TCP has a very light, smooth trigger. But it has a dependable step near the letoff point so I can take up the slack, refine my aim and fire. I prefer it over the Kahr trigger which has no step. The lower price of the CW380 will be tempting once it bottoms out, but I am still not sure that at almost twice the price (~$350?) it will move me to replace the TCP.

I will consider picking one up as a backup to my P380 if the CW380 fits the same holsters like the PM9 and CM9.

Had a chance to hold the CW380 at a Dealers Show. Exactly like my CM9 had been shrunk down to the size of my P380. After a two trips to the factory and changing my grip, my 380 has been flawless. The second trip might have been my fault. I may have ben hitting the hold back lever without realizing it. First trip was for frame replacement. Love it now.

There was no PM380... just the P380, so the new one would be a CW380. The P380 is small enough!

My P380 has been flawless and my EDC gun for several years now. The price point on the new gun looks good. The day I bought my P380 at the gunshow I Paid my entry fee, bought the gun, peirce grip extenders, 250 rounds (of then hard to find) FMJ practice rounds and 40 rounds of Hornedy CD 90grn SD rounds.
It all fit into a (size 12) shoebox with room to spare and the final cost was over $800 bucks. I do feel my Trijicon sighted P380 is worth what I "paid to play", but thats just me. Others I know have been "shocked and outraged" by that pricepoint...
I shall watch the new guns release with some amusement, but if they are nearly as good as the P380 then HURRY and get you one.

So when does anyone think we will start seeing these for sale at our gun shops? Couple months or sooner? Ive been wanting a p380 but couldnt find a reasonably priced one. I have a CM9 which I really like. Just been waiting for the like to come out in 380. I just had my kel tec .32 barrel lug break so im waiting to get a new barrel back from kel tec. Im carrying a p3at now, but I like the way kahr pistols are made especially the barrel lug area where they left the steel "brace" at the bottom of the kidney looking cutout. Trying to get one soon.

I just checked with my local retailer and he didn't think they would get any for at least 6 months and wouldn't even put me on a waiting list. The poor guy was so upset by the difficulty of getting inventory of ANY guns I thought he would cry. I guess Obama's legacy will be that he's the most successful gun salesman in history.
