What do you recommend for a good rubber grip sleeve for the P380 ? Any advice is appreciated. Thanx:)

I used a 1.75" bike tube grip cover... cheap and easy to make. I have put one on each of my polymer pistols, including two P380's. I cut the appropriate length plus an inch and then cut the top angled piece and then trimmed the bottom and then the top again after fitting. You don't want any part of the cover intruding on either side of the magazine catch... or the magazine well.

Caution: The tubes contain talcum powder, so cut them over the sink, wash them inside and out then turn them inside out, as that side seems smoother and better looking.

I started with my largest pistol first and then put the first few "mistakes" on the smaller pistols. I like the fit and feel. It's close to the rubber grips on my K9. It tones down the "cheese graters" on the larger pistols and gives a good tactile grip on all of the pistols.

Thanks wyntrout--great idea. I've got Hogues and Pachmayrs on some other guns, but didn't want to spend the money on them, and end up cutting them up. Your solution will fit the bill.

I use the bike tube grips on my pistols as well. I really like them, even more than the ones you can buy, like the Hogues and Pachmayrs. Great feel. great traction.

Used bike tubes are FREE at bike shop and well do many handguns for many friends. You can build up the thickness two if needed.

Dang hardluk, I was gonna go into selling the "Kahr Tire" for only $10.00 per pop! But if you order right away, you'll get two for the same price, just pay separate shipping and handling.

And let me guess. Shipping and handling is $49.95:D:D

Don't BUY any of the ones with Slime in them... yucky!

Make smooth cuts as any nick might tear when trying to stretch the tubes to put them on the first time. You can make small cuts in place with those small curved finger nail scissors to stay clear of the magazine catch... both sides.

Put a bike tube on my CW45 & didn't care for it - so took it off.

An alternative to that would be Sticky Grips. I bought my first CW9 used, it had a set on it already... I thought that was how they came. I've since gotten sets for my other 2 Kahrs...

It doesn't add much thickness to the grip, provides a good tactile grip without being 'sticky' ...if that makes sense.

...and with (L) and without (R)...
