Just picked up my brand new Kahr PM9 today from local dealer. I must say I love this gun! It is everything I heard about and more. I'm one who does extensive research on nearly every item i buy and the PM9 was no exception. I read numerous articles, both online and from respected publications, before i settled on the Kahr as my deep concealment sibling to my Glock 26. Size, weight and concealability are fantastic. Unfortunately, my much anticipated breaking in of my latest toy has been delayed. After picking it up early this morning I headed directly to my favorite gun range....and wouldn't you know it! As I am literally parking my vehicle there is a power outage for several blocks! So I'm like that kid with his Christmas present in hand counting down the hours before I can open my gift (to myself of course). Welcome, Jules. I will commiserate with you a little. At least you have your Kahr in hand. Mine waits for me in the bowels of a gun shop here in CT while I wait for my permit. So we both wait, though I'd swap your waiting for mine any day.

Be patient. It's well worth the wait. I am new to Kahrs also. Like you I did a lot of reading and research before I bought my CM9. Glad I did, it has been great. Not a glitch in the 1st 500 rounds. I've owned guns all my life but have to say my kahr is my favorite. Enjoy it when the power comes back on.
