Wow, Look at this from Armslist ($950). I'd worry about the finish rubbing off.

trigger and hammer need to be blued

.... and what people can do in the name of fashion just seems to never end....

And....that pistol is about the same sort of statement that gives us gangbanga wannabees wearing their pants below their crotch.

I used to wear a paper sack over my head so people wouldn't see me driving a Ford product, I'd have to wear two in case one fell off if I carried that gun.

I'm usually careful not to criticize another mans pride and joy but that is not only ugly it's butt ugly, course I guess it depends on who's butt your comparing it too.

Speaking of a different look 1911, has anyone seen the SIG 1911 Spartan with bronze Nitron finish?

No thanks on the bronze Nitron finish. I don't like it at all.

I saw one at Sig's pro-shop this pic look coppery that look browner in person. they actually look nice. BUT this is a field day for a prosecutors office. P; to the jury.... This engraving on the firearm could only mean the defendant wanted to be challenged so They could shoot the person. Why else would they have this elaborate engraving...

No thank you.

I can handle the Sig, I'll take one. It's different but I could get used to that and carry it without a sack over my head.

It's a shame to take something as sweet as a Kimber and make it look like something a Mexican Drug Cartel owner would carry. Probably where it came from...

its a total disgrace to such a nice gun even if it is a 1911 45 If glock made that gun, the glock boys would be all overf it as the greatest thing since Monica learned to work on her knees. Just sayin:eek:
OR
glock could call it the Hillary gun....WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!!

Just because something can be done, doesn't always mean it should be done.

You guys are missing the point. This firearm is specifically designed so the proud owner of some rattlesnake boots can ankle carry concealed wearing only Hawaiian shorts and the boots.

I hadn't thought of that. My bad.

I saw this one on the 1911 forum and had to share it too. I think it's car paint because I had an old rusty 50 cal ammo can that I painted the exact color. I think the red is better on the ammo can. This must be a fire department pistol.

^^That would be a Georgia Bulldogs commemorative 1911.

As for the snakeskin paint, why not just buy a cheap airsoft gun and paint that up? It's not like you're planning to shoot it much, right?

Well I always used to say I've never seen a 1911 I didn't like, guess I can't be saying that no more. Would be a little white like course momma says a little white lie never hurt nobody.

That's just all kinds of wrong. I wouldn't give you $9.50 for the one in the OP, much less $950. Ick.

just goes to show tht alot of 1911 kguys have zero sense. Just sayin If that purdy, then Pegolsi belongs on Mt.Rushmore.

When u were a kid did u ever make a sand castle, where u know u add some water tothe sand andu can realysmooth it out and then later on in the day when it drys out, thecastlelooks like sh!t.

That my friends if Pegosie at 8 a.m and then at 5 p.m the real ugly b!tch shows up. Every day is Halloween at the Pegosie home.. But heh as a famus American b!tch once said, "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOE S IT MAKE".
