I'm up in the air on what to get.

I like fiber optic sights. They are easy to pick up. The down side is the are terrible in low light.

Then there are night sights which are great in low light but not as good in day light as fiber optic.

Also how durable are each? I've read abouit the fiber optic ones falling a part.

I wish they had TFO sights for the Kahr.

What does everyone have?
How do you like them?
If you had to do it over again would you get what you have now?

A laser sight works both day and night.

That's true.

Right now the gun has no sights so I need something.

The Trijicon night sights they sell are very very good.

^^^ did you install those sites yourself? They look really nice. Might go this route myself.

I don't see Kahr listed for the Trijicon sights. Which one fits?

I installed the front, had a local place do the rear for 15$. They dinged up my rear sight a little but kahr dovetails are so damn tight I wasn't upset.

I decided on Dawson Precision fiber optic. I will also be adding a Crimson Trace laser guard.

Good call. I was a die hard night-sighter but recently put a front FO on a revolver. Now I'm hooked. I was amazed at how bright they are in even dim light. Just ordered a couple more for a couple pistols. I think both night sights and fiber optic have their place. I like that I can just mount a front FO with the standard rear sights and it works well.

I still haven't sprung for a laser yet because I really like the wood grips on my Kahrs. Vanity. :roll-eyes:

If it is going to be a carry gun, both poor choices in my opinion due to being to fragile. The laser also hinders concealment options due to adding bulk. I feel the XS Big Dots are about the best you can get for a concealment defensive gun. Easy to see, day or night and very durable without adding bulk.

Front is easy, rear almost broke my sight pusher

X2, But the only downside is for the cm9 they won't sell you the sights to install yourself because of the pinned front sight, they want you to mail the slide to them for install and charge $120 plus cost of sights, which ends up being more than half the cost of the gun :-(

What? Go to kahrs website and just buy the set. I bought my set a few months ago, parts in my hand in less than a week.

it wasmy cw or cm series, I would just buy the xs big dot set and install only the front sight. IMO thatis all u need anyhow, as if you shoot that bog dot enough, all ur gonna see when youy pull that gun up is the front site anyhow, which is realy what one shold concentrateon anyhow. see it plainlyt and the rest will fall right in place.
\
Ifone thinks he is gonna line thgat back sight andfront sight up in a shtf situation, he willbe deadon arrival. Kahrs IMO are true defence/fightin guns, So get good, close, get good fast. POA willbe ur fastest way to defend yourself.

Train the way ur intend to defend yourself...:banplease: leave the 1-2" groups to guys like Todd Jarrett and Brian Enos..

Those are the dovetail sights, you would still need to have a gunsmith to cut the slide for the front. XS does offer a pinned sight as well but won't let you purchase to install yourself.

Good choice on the Dawsons and Crimson. You are turning that CM into a nice piece. CM's were not available when I purchased my PM. I probably would not have wanted to go through all the mods anyway...so I paid a little more in the end. You'll have a nice CM that you can call your own.

Yes they do, just open your eyes. My front is pinned.
