CW380 front sight height [Archive]

Does anyone know the height of the front sight on the CW380?
I'm wanting to put some night sights on and like the height of the factory sight.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I had an email conversation with a rep at Kahr today. She states that night sights will be available for the CW380 "within the next month or so". And that they will be available as a front/rear set.

Can we replace the front sight ourselves ? Isn't that pinned in place?

Short answer is YES.

They aren't pinned, they're "staked." Grab the sight with a pair of pliers and twist.

It comes right off with a twist of the pliers. The problem is there is not a night sight replacement that I know.

Hell I would bet the big dot sight would do great there. I think they sell a pinned sight for the cw series and it willsurely work in the cw. That is a point and aim sight and shold do well for defense work..

on the kahr website for that CW sight is specifically states all CWs except the cw380.
