I just picked up a CW-380 from Cabela's. I shot 100 rounds of UMC with out any issues. I paid $299.99 plus tax NIB. I was wondering about the serial#'s as mine being a RHXXXX. I have been snooping around the site and there seem's to be a lot of good information around.

The CW .380 is a sweet little pistol. That was a great price. It's hard to beat for a deep concealment firearm ..

Wouldn't mind picking one up myself, but I'd need to thin out my collection a bit.

I thought so. It was $349.99 less $50.00 off any Kahr product. I was able to snag 500 bulk rounds of 22lr for $26.99. It was gone in 20 minutes.

Congrats on your CW380. That's awesome you had no issues right out of the gate with it. And man, that's one heckuva great deal you got.

I don't know any specifics about the serial numbers for the CW380's, but mine also begins with RH, and I've had very good reliability with mine.

It seems most of the new CW380s have had a little machining burr on the slide you may want to check. If you remove the slide, look in the half-moon cutout. If you have the burr, you can easily scrape it away from a screwdriver. I don't think it affects anything, but I'd rather not have it there, if you know what I mean.

Welcome to the forum!

Already done thanks to this forum. I'm sure it was nothing but I removed it just in case it broke off inside. I wanted to shoot another 100 rounds today but the snow is winning.

me and I will give u my address to help u thin out your collection. U gotta know that this fourm is fullof guys like ol jock that really wantto be ofd help. I would say though to totally disregard anything from Muggsy, downtown, colonel, Tinman and getsome... I can give u a complete list if u PM me, but it is very long. I know these guys, they would expect u to even pay shippin g, where as ol jocko will pay shipping to helpu thin out ur collection. :amflag:

Same here in NC. It drifted up two feet deep outside the door. Sun is finally shining, but it will be here awhile. It's fun to watch the shockwave knock the snow out of the trees when you fire that first shot in a freshly fallen snow. :)

Yea, I just received the flyer in the mail and they had $50.00 off any Kahr. I took a ride up and noticed the CW-380 in the case and had to have it.

That's a new one on me. I never even considered the possibility of a gun collection putting on too, much weight. Live and learn I always say. Pay no attention to that old reprobate, Jocko. I never force anyone to pay the freight, especially if were talking 1911's, S&W revolvers or Kahr pistols. Not necessarily in that order. I've been know to pay a seller at least half of what his gun worth just to ease his burden. :)

I agree, About the only thing I need to thin out are the holsters I thought I had to have and now they just sit in the safe.

Well I just came back from another successful trip from the range with this little gem.
I fired 100 rounds with only two issues that I think were my fault. It wouldn't lock the slide back on the last round twice and I think it may have been my grip and or my thumb. I'll keep my eyes on it.
