Well, I picked it up today, a brand "spanking" new CT40, and I can't wait to get some range time with it. The weekend looks like it should clear up weather-wise. I'll keep you posted with the "range results". Now I own all of the polymer frame sizes that Kahr offers. Along with a couple of steel ones. :D

Wasn't sure if this is the correct sub-forum. I see the CW's with the P's so I thought- what the heck!

That sounds like a pretty good price, a lot of gun for that kind of money! I held one at SHOT, and didn't want to put it down. Here is my video:

One question I have is; the "take up" in the trigger seems a bit longer on this CT40 than on my other "P" series polymers, is this normal or am I just nit pickin? This is my first "C" series pistol.

In my experience, the triggers do vary on individual guns. My pm9 had a heavier trigger than my cw380. I once held a cw9 in the shop that had the softest smoothest lightest kahr trigger I've held. They certainly smooth out and lighten over time.

Every Kahr I own up until now have been used, aquired either from friends or from my favorite LGS( ie. PM9, P9, P380 and now CT40) The previous three were already broken in and this one being brand new and also being a first model year has me a little concerned. I am looking foward to some range time with it.

Went to my range and put approx. 300 rounds through it. Used assorted manufacturers including my favorite SD load of Gold-Dots. Absolutly no issues at all, unlike my "picky-at first" PM9. Gave it a good cleaning and I am now contemplating on whether to use the CT40 for an IDPA match in the spring. I gotta look for a good kydex holster.:)9916

The recoil, to me, feels about the same as my P9 with 124gr. loads. Other wise, not bad at all. I believe the longer grip makes the difference.

That trigger will egual out fairly well if round count is the same as your p9. Atleast mine did. With 3 kahrs , cm9, cw9 and tp40 after 1200 rounds in the tp40 even the trigger break is with in 3oz max of the other two. LOP would have to be measured for me to find a difference. Even length of reset seems to be the same. 9mm+P in a P9, good comparison to the tp40.
