I have not tried one but I am sure going to. Thanks for the heads-up. I was going to start a post and ask if anyone had heard of a solution to the stiff spring! It's ridiculous.

I got one off Gun Broker for about 30 bucks. It works great. You will need to remove the firing pin and polish it all over. It's stamped and needs some deburring. The one I got came with a buffer too. It does make a diffefence. If remember right the sight you mentioned did not realy want to sell me one. They wanted to install it for me. They said something about it firing out of battery if not installed right. I just installed the one I got off GB. The guy I got it from will answer any and all questions. He's got a class 3 and can do an SRB for you too. If you can't find his auction on GB PM me and I'll give you his email.

Sgt,
Can you PM that info to me as well? What is the connection with the burs on the firing pin have to the recoil spring?

Thanks!

The best accessory I ever bought for my Thompson, bar none. :)
It's worth the 50 buck I paid for it!

EZ pull springs kits come in two forms that I've found. One includes a hammer spring and the other doesn't. What is the benefit of the third spring? Does anyone have experience - good or bad - with either or both kits? Thanks

Mine didn't come with the third spring, so I have no idea...:)

Mine had 3 with a hammer, the hammer is attatched to spring, rather than loose like khars. Been reliable with 8k+ rounds now.

Didn't realize this thread started back in 2009. Was wondering why Sgt Saunders wasn't responding to my request for his GB contact. He hasn't visited since 2009. Hmmm

Anybody got any inside track to one of these EZ Pull recoil setups other than tommygunner. I'm feeling cheap lately and want one of them 30 or 50 dollar deals.

I'm coming up blank searching GB and the internet in general.

A whole lot of money has been printed since 2009. That $50 part is more likely in the $85 range today.

Fyi after a couple thousands rounds, check the buffer pad that comes with the kit. Minecracked into 3 pieces. Glad I checked before the next shoot, our dmg could have been pricey.
