With the K9, it's all good.

well for me both are about ther same. I don't shoot alot of hp ammo for range fodder due to expense, so fmj shoots good for me and when I switch to hp for a few magazines, the groups seem no better although more felt power.

Which BRANDs are the best from the K9 shooters?

Every brand, fmj or hp, std or +P shoot super in mine. I do not shoot cheap, foreign ammo and have not shot any reloads (cause I don't reload for handguns.) I really like 124 gr +P Speer GDHP for carry ammo but find Federal 115 std BPLE is very good also. Mine just shoots everything well.
