Got that DC?
This is my winter carry which I am switching to more now as the temps are dropping. Kimber TLE 2 1911 with custom Bawanna Grips in Bawanna recommended Mernickle holster, Spyderco Police 3 blade(with homemade Emerson wave feature) and 511 leather belt (soon to be replaced with one that forum members have recommended to me.
My CW40. I bought the CW for reasons beyond the price point. When those reasons changed I guess I could have upgraded...
But the CW is broke in, reliable as the day is long and we have a great relationship with one another. Why change now?
The P380 was alot more cash than its competitors, but every round I shoot through the little gun makes me more sure that every dime was money well spent.
I have others I carry but these two get the most travel time.

I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
"Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
"more stuff than you are"
God Bless our Troups!
Here's my daily ensemble. I've been leaving the double mag pouch and the kukri behind of late, people thought I was paranoid or something.
The 1911 has to stay in the van during the day since the chief neutered me, we don't need to dwell on that ankle gun none at all. So far he don't gripe about the little knife which I love. It's only about 6 1/2" overall and right handy.
I carry it on my left side like a left handed person. My get off me knife in a gun grab situation.
I feel like a gosh darn copy cat of knkali. He's got a great looking rig. I guess copying is a form of flattery not to be confuse with Cape Flattery.

My EDC is usually the PM9 (6+1) with 8-round extended-grip reload.
Update 03-25-2013: My EDC has been the Mag-na-ported P40(also pictured). I just put Big Dot NS on it and now it's 24-hour capable. I keep 180-gr Speer Gold Dots Short Barrel version in it and the 7-round-extended grip reload.
I have a Looper Kydex-reinforced belt and the horsehide Mini Tuck.
I wear the P380 around the house in the old UM Sidekick #1. It has a Mini Tuck and a C.O.M. holster, too. The COM is for when I need quick on and off capability.
I also can carry the PM45(5+1+7) or the Mag-na-ported P40(6+1+7) in the PM's Mini Tuck... the K9 fits, too. Belt tension holds all in place.
I carry the spring assisted opening 3" Gerber FAST Draw clipped in my left pocket and the spare mag is carried OWB opposite the pistol which is at about 4 o'clock. I'll carry the PowerTac Cadet(300+ Lumens) only if it might get dark before I get home.
For a quick trip to the store wearing clogs, drawstring shorts, and a Tee, I might just go with the P380 in the UM. I wear oversized (LG) polos and can sweep the untucked tail up and draw one-handed.
Note the metal base plate and O-ring on the P40... more concealable. The O-ring stops pinches. I now have black steel base plate kits for the PM9, P9, and P40. I added an O-ring to the P9, too.
AND, there are 1.75" bike tube grip covers on all... just the right feel and without adding bulk. JMHO and YMMV.
The magazine holders are all by Mitchell of Tactical Kydex on GlockTalk:

No, it's Mitchell who makes Tactical Kydex holders. I have dozens and dozens... at least a couple of dozens anyhow. He has a link on GlockTalk. I "hid" it at the end of my post.
