Default Ammunition in the Micro Desert Eagle (MDE)?

Curious what works (and what does not) in your Micro Desert Eagle (MDE)?
    - It appears to me that, if I load a full six rounds of Winchester Ranger T-series .380s into the magazine, the first one will not chamber.
    - If I take the sixth one out so there's only five, it will chamber fine.
I chatted with Magnum Research but the fellow did not seem to know about that type of Winchester load nor did he seem to be aware of any such problem.

Any feedback on other good carry rounds?
    - How about the older Federal Hydra-Shok .380s in the MDE (haven't tried those yet) ?
    - Any others you have tried that work well?

Mine eats anything, but I carry it with Speer Gold Dots. No problem and a super round to boot.

Same here. Eats everything I've tried to date. My SD choice is Remington Golden Sabre...but only because they come 25/box and I'm cheap. They run fine too. Great little pistol.

Ditto on the Speer Gold Dots. Very accurate and reliable in mine. It also eats everything, though.

Also, I'm wondering if you've tried another magazine to see if you have the same problem. If there's something slightly off with the feed lips, the extra tension of a fully loaded magazine might exacerbate it, while a reduction in spring tension by removing a round might cause it to not be so severe. I'd try another mag if different ammo doesn't fix it. Try the Speer GDs though. I use them in all my carry guns of various calibers. Good luck.

Load five in the mag and chamber a round. Then remove the mag and top it off. Reinsert mag. Problem solved. Duh.

I have absolutely no need for one of those but why do I want one?
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I really recommend it. I guess it gets overlooked. Not quite light enough? Kinda odd looking? But it works. And is as well machined as any pistol I've ever owned.
