    Dang that is a beautiful firearm. Lol, there is not a Double stack made that I would have over that gun. I need to get one. Just a picture of the MK, shows why Kahr is such a great manufacture. Bravo to all you guys (and Gals) that own one. You have a real GEM!

    Just looked this up and found this price.

    Wood gives a multitude of options for thickness. Perhaps not factory store bought but I could make grips that would feel like a Glock although I don't know why anyone would want that. Your spot on with the weight issue but heavy and light both have advantages too I reckon.

    I would remove the sight, and peen the bottom. Basically pushing metal around so it fits snugger in the dovetail. Add a bit of loctite and the snugger fit should keep it in place just fine.
