    Cool How can I find out the Birthday of a Auto-Ordnance 1911???

    I just picked up a new to me Auto-Ordnance 1911 and I'm trying to find out when it was built...

    Is there someone I can contact or somewhere I can look up the serial number to find out it's build date???

    Or do I have to contact Kahr in Worcester???

    I'd probably try the contact on the Auto Ordnance website first. Kahr could no doubt tell but Auto Ordnance might be more direct.
