You could look back at all my comments on the subject. You would not find one that stated I thought that having an optical sight would slow a defender down. So, no worries.

Yep, exactly and Kahr's do not have them. And no one in their right mind is going to place one on a 380 or CM9 etc. Defeats the whole purpose. Bravo to Kahr.
