1996 k9 Crimson Trace LG-460 installation problems

Just bought a new(old stock)LG-460 and it does'nt slip on as it ought to.
Can anyone please direct me to information regarding how to make it fit?
My k9 has the AH prefix. Thanks!

Check the cutouts on the backsides of the grips that fit inside the frame cutouts. Sometimes it's necessary to relieve some of the material due to slight differences in the shape of cutouts in the frame.

I've no firsthand experience in regards to your issue, perhaps you could post some photos so members can brainstorm the fit.

Today I removed the area just below the upper screw holes. This allowed the grips to attach. Thanks!
