Default Anyone Switch from CM9/PM9 to a SIG P365 or Springfield Hellcat?

I have been carrying a CM9 with some regularity since 2012. I especially like it for front-pocket in a Recluse holster however it is very comfortable AIWD in a Vedder LightTuck holster, too.
The new "micro-9mms" look very appealing as a replacement. I was wondering how shooting a P365 compares to the Kahr: trigger pull, trigger reset, grip purchase, felt recoil, etc.
Also, is the weight&size difference noticeable when carrying? I would probably get a standard size because in NY we are limited to 10 rounds in a mag, so why get a longer grip.
The CM9 smooth trigger is nice but the it does have a long reset.
    Thanks in advance.

To start off with I will say this. I have never ridden a reset in my life. I am a DA or DAO true believer. I do not find the Kahr trigger too long at all. The Beretta APX A1 Carry for "Myself" is the best shooting gun I have tried, but do carry the lighter weight CM9 more. Also the New Carry has the Best trigger for what I prefer. That said the Kahr trigger is fantastic, and the gun is easy shooting. To find out what is best for you, would be to actually try and find a way to take a minimum of 250 rds and shoot them side by side.

It's been a while since I have shot them together, but I seem to recall the PM9 being the "softest" shooter, followed by the P365, then the Hellcat.

As all three are fine as is for me, I'm not concerned about the length to reset for each.

Likewise, the grip on all three work for me (shortest configuration), but I would give the edge in controllability to the P365 with a Wilson grip module.

Fully loaded, the weight of the P365 or Hellcat is noticeable compared to the lighter PM9. If all three are loaded to 7+1 (Magguts in the PM9), the weight differences are practically unnoticeable.

The PM9's smaller size and overall shape make it my choice for pocket carry.

To rank them in my preference overall: 1.P365 2.PM9 3.Hellcat

I think it worth noting that other than the Magguts and metal baseplate, my PM9 is stock out of the box. The other two have had significant changes made to them.

I have some other thoughts in regards to the P365 vs the Hellcat here:

FWIW, if belt carry is the game, my MK9 is a worthy challenger to any in this group (weight be damned):

I switched from a CM9 to a P365. I prefer the trigger, the ergonomics, the sights and the modularity. Added capacity is a bonus. Both are too heavy and uncomfortable for me to pocket carry.

muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.

Belt carry the P365 is fine. I can’t quite pocket carry the 365 as well so the CM9 is my pocket carry gun. Both are good pistols.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I haven’t switched, no desire to try the 365 or Hellcat. They seem nice, but I’m fine with what I have (CM9 and T9).

That certainly is the most practical. And put the money toward more ammo. Especially if you have already spent time and money on the gun you own and a nice gun it is.

This is true, but then again who doesn’t want another gun?

    Exactly

Well, yah. S&W is easing out the M&P 45 with the much improved trigger they have on all the other M&Ps, and I may need one. Currently they only offer a threaded barrel cut-slide tacticool version, but I’ll patiently await the plain Jane version.

Not me. Every new gun I buy is my last gun. I’m thinking about getting another last one already next month.

Now that I think about it, the reason I drive older cars must be so I can buy guns and ammo.
