Well ....went to look today and ended up with NEITHER. But a MINT Sig P227 followed me home for $700 out the door price. It even already
has ORANGE Trijicon HD sights on it and SRT trigger upgrade.![]()

Good score. Pictures or it didn’t happen. The big question is did it come with the jeepster color scheme too?
Ive come to like the Sig DA/SA metal frame pistols lately.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Finally got some pictures, threw on scale LOADED for some comparisons:
- P227 45 ACP with 11 rounds/ Trigger pull= 6lbs 4oz in DA 2lbs 5oz in single action
- P226 357 Sig with 13 rounds/ Trigger pull= 5 lbs 6oz in DA 2lbs 4oz inn single action
- Wilson Combat 92G Centurion with 18 rounds 9mm/ Trigger pull= 5lbs 2oz in DA 2lbs 5 oz in single action
- S@W 1911 SC 45ACP with 9 rounds
- Ruger SP101 357 magnum 5 rounds
These are in carry rotation favoring the SP101 and the S@W due to comfort when carrying.

Those Sigs and the WC are about perfect trigger weights.

Out of curiosity, I just weighed my Tisas Carry. It came in at 33.90. I was surprised it was less than your Smith 1911. Course 45's are heavier and more meaningful. I've been after my son's Smith (just like yours) for years. He don't carry it but he won't part with it, probably on account of I don't have enough rubles to cover the tariff.

Cue sound of Head slap.

Was the TISA loaded? I weighed it with mag in, loaded including one in chamber of 230 grain ammo total of 9 rounds. I was comparing actual CARRY weight.
[per web site it is 28.8 empty]
