Thread: Has anyone installed a Galloway flat trigger?

Default Has anyone installed a Galloway flat trigger?

I installed one on my CW9, it was not easy but doable. That spring arangement and plate are ingenious yet difficult to reinstall with the new trigger; that stated it is a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion. The reset on the trigger is 10% less, trigger feel is better and they do look nice. I kept my other CW/CM pistols with their stock triggers, I just wanted to see if it works and it does; actually quite well. I like the little pull ledge on the bottom of the trigger, it gives the best leverage and smoothest trigger pull. I'd like to show a picture of it but will have to find out how to attach pictures from my computer...
I still lack enough postings here is a link to the picture, https://ibb.co/XS7jnts

I tried it on my P9 and didn't care for it. I like flat triggers on other guns, but that one didn't do it for me. Could be I've lived with Kahr triggers so long they feel right to me the way they come.

    gb6491,
I sincerely appreciate that link to your installation and comments. I like the trigger as the reset is about 10% better which isn't bad. As far as the overtravel screw, I like the positive stop. It is not aesthetically pleasing but it works as designed. Reinstalling the trigger was not fun, I worked on it and persevered until it was right. Again thanks for the link, very helpful
