edit: Hmmm. Just went to buy a case and they wanted 9.99 for shipping. Not a lot, but still adds to the cost per round.

Shipping costs were rising even before Covid messed everything up. Shipping has still been rising and set to really take off, especially if UPS union gets what they want. $ The higher and higher costs have driven a lot of small time Ebay sellers to quit as customers don't want to pay so much for shipping.
In other words, I have a truckload of firearms and military accessories taking up a lot of space but I can't give it away for free to pay shipping for buyers.

Agree with the shipping cost. The most economical store I have seen to purchase ammo is TARGETSPORTS.COM. Yes, you do pay $100.00 a year for membership, but I make that back very quickly. And everything ships free. You do not have to buy a whole case. For example, I can buy 3, boxes of one brand of 9mm, 3, boxes of another ans so on. Or mix calibers and still get the same price as I would purshasing a case. Shotgun, rimfire etc.

We have to understand that INFLATION is coming soon. Be ready. The shipping industry is hurting big time. Both Rail, Trucking etc. Stock up now if you can.

I buy a lot of ammo. Store a lot. Targetsports is fast, great packing, low cost all all ammo. Not just one case.

I have been buying ammo at SGAmmo for years.
They have free shipping if the order is $200 or higher.

I did one of those membership free shipping things, right before covid. That place had prices double everywhere else. So.. be careful out there.

Their revolver ammo is very well priced, just never heard of the brand, might try a box or two.

Bought 4 boxes of .357 mag ammo, very good price, but shipping appears to be a fixed 12.00 fee, at least for me. Not unreasonable.

Like KingRat, I'm a member at TargetSports... they are awesome. They always have fair prices on their stuff, you can see what they actually have in inventory... 1 box, or 99+, etc... so you know they actually have it. They often have things like the LE 50rd boxes of GoldDots and other SD ammos, which beats buying the tiny boxes all to Heck.
