Yes, the X9 is a two finger grip in my hand, but then again, so was the OG Sig P365 and the Springfield Hellcat for me but... Whatcha gonna do? I have shot my sons Hellcat and a friend's Sig and nether really floated my boat. The Hellcat Trigger was... okay?? The Sig tended to move around in my tightest grip and I never really figured out a good point of aim with it. I thought about a SIG with the Wilson grip frame on it and XS sights (they are local to me) and maybe I'd be there. However, If I'm buying a gun just to rework it, price really (really!) matters and I could never make a good enough deal on one.
I guess what makes the X9 right for me was the trigger. It is the good old Kahr trigger I like and I am use too. Same trigger as my K9, PM9 and P380...
I was not a fan of the optic on the X9 and I would have loved to have seen what the sight pic was like without it, but alas, they did not have an example without the optic at the show.
I saw a lot of cool toys to buy at the show. The Bond Arms lever action AR was too cool and when I get a new safe with more room One will join the stable. But right now I am down to getting the two that will fit the present safe.
So, I am happy to wait for my X9 and it should be available soon.

    Peace
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
    "more stuff than you are"

Here is a quick pic of the Bond Lever gun. You may use any 870 stock and takes AR mags!
Bond Arms is about 45min down the road from me in Grandbury TX. Always cool to go by the Bond Arms booth and talk to the owner. They also have the single shot Cyclops out in 45-70 and now 50 AE, just in case you need a 50 cal in your front pocket.

    Peace

I've looked it up before, but I can't remember what OG means.

That, and GOAT, seem to pop up a lot these days amongst the cool kids, of which I'm obviously not one because the slang is over my head.

I'm wondering how the lever would work if a person put a straighter buttstock on it. Almost has to match the angle of that lever seems like. Like to hold that just for grins to see what it feels like. Like the concept.

I have seen a pic of the LVR with a standard 870 buttstock on it. After I left the NRA show I got to thinking a fine wood 870 trap buttstock, with a high comb and a bit of a palm swell would look/feel good.

So...how many are considering the X9, just because the magazine is flush?
Never to this day, understood, why, the magazine fit is so bad on most models.
