    100% correct in all aspects.

My club subs per year = almost exactly US$200.

No gun may be 'visible' in public or the LEOs get called and it won't end well.

Pistols have to be in cases, long guns in bags or boxes (so outta sheer fright I further install trigger locks to placate TPTB if get pulled over, as the Gun Registry means for even a traffic stop 'they' know you might be 'armed').

    Oh, and - 50 rounds of Federal .44 JHP 240gr costs NZ$149.00 / US$88.00.

It's a shame that the Australian public isn't allowed to protect themselves while out in public........In 2023, there were 36, 313 sexual assaults, up 11% from 2022. There were 409 homicides, up 5% from 2022. Sex assaults are 136 per 100,000. Homicides are 3 per 100,000. The numbers have been rising. May not sound like large numbers, but for a place that is as strict as they are, they are high. Pop. 27 mil. compared with U.S. which is 6-7 homicides per 100,000. Pop. around 345 mil.
