You need help! Sell your Colt, whats up with that? Hope you got another cause I been bonding with a beautiful piece of ebony all day just for you. Just starting the checkering process. Gonna do a skip line pattern, (I hope). Cut out a few slabs of Lace wood and I'm gonna cut up some Zebra but the focus now is checkering ebony. Good stuff.

I've seen the Rock Island Armory 1911's going for around $400 at the gun shows recently. I hear they are a pretty decent pistol, although they say the bluing wears off a little more quickly than some of the more higher priced brands. I wouldn't mind finding an Officer sized one to add to my collection.

HY*NDAI is to cars, what Caracal, Hi-Point, and Jennings is to handguns. The cars may or may not run ok, but the corporation SUCKS.
Sell your Colt? Oy vey! What possessed you to do that? I wouldn't sell any of my Colts.
As to ideas for a new 1911, I've been eyeballing the S&W sub compact. It feels great in my hand and would disappear as a concealed carry piece.
I never sold a Colt, but my brother 'borrowed' mine in 1978, and I haven't seen it since. You didn't give us much to work with, but I've bought four in the last four months. Two are 3.5 inch, a Citadel and a Loaded SS Springfield Ultra Compact, one is 4.25 inch, a SIG 1911 C3, and a FS Rock Island Tactical nickel. They all shoot well and are accurate, but since they are new, none has more than 500 rounds. I guess my favorites are the SIG and Springfield because they look so classy and are so easy to carry.
we went to the range me and the son-in-law to try out the tommy, and i took all
the 1911s ,the gun club was there, and brought some new shooters.
Her and hubby tried the colt, and she loved it, dangit (side note she was very good with it)natchso i was helping to host the meet and her and her daughters asked to try it again, then lo and behold her hubby wanted it,she is going to qualify with it to carry edc, (my kinda of girl) i sold it for what i paid
for it. so now i am looking for another:7: now i know how a crack head feels.
but another guy from has a couple for sale so i wont be without one for long:hungry:
shoot untill they change shape or catch fire
If your serious PM me I might be able to accomadate you.

Didn't say it was for sale. I was just stating that I might have a Colt.
