. My PM9 has over 40,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I would never cause a thread to stray... or butt into anyone else's "conversation"!
Oh, the horrors! Sometimes it keeps the thread going and is natural conversation.
I was being the "indignant pot" calling the kettle black... or vice versa... whatever.LOL!
Anyhow... I hope the info benefits someone thinking about keeping a spare parts inventory.

JFootin,
I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your hands. I am happy that you are still an armed good guy!

Dang! Having big problems with my main PC... 10 to 20 seconds or more "lag" whenever I try to move my mouse or click it or press keys! It's getting worse!
I got my parts and have put the P380 and the PM9 back together. I put 5-lb striker springs from Wolff in both of them and that gives me something else to test when I get to the range. I've tested both guns as much as I can without actually firing them. The trigger pull seems a lot lighter!
I replaced a follower in a K9 7-round mag that I had tried "converting" to .40 for my P40 and then had to doctor the feed lips a bit with pliers. I minutely bent the right forward feed lip inward and then the left minutely to the left. I fine-sanded both feed lips and tested for function. Now it feeds flawlessly with rapid racking of FMJ ammo. When I first tried the new follower, the first round would stick on the right side of the feed ramp. Slide release or hard racks wouldn't budge it. I needed to move the nose of the bullet a little to the left. I think that I'll have to do some more mags like that. I had tried to "open" those K9 mags up a tad to use as .40 mags with extended-grip bases. That's something else to test.
Four sets of 7-round racking sessions left a few of the "factory reloads" with obvious setbacks, so I measured those, marked them with a red Sharpie and set them aside for expenditure at the range, when I can pay attention to what I'm shooting!
Un-chambered rounds ran 1.096" to 1.100" overall length, but a few of the chambered ones were 1.076/1.077" and one was 1.056". I'm more leery of the last three mentioned. There's something else to test!
