Ha, looks like they “corrected” the “typo.” Now it says 7 where I copy/pasted the text.

So will they work with the extension? Gallaway for instance?
They sent me this email after I placed my order...
"Hello Customer,
This email is in reference to an order you placed for the Kahr 6 round MagGuts conversion that was ordered on 10/10 (yesterday). We wanted to notify you that there was an error in the product description on the website for part of the day before it was corrected late in the afternoon. This mistake may or may not have been present at the time of your order.
The product description stated that the conversion would convert your 6 round magazine into an 8 round magazine. This is incorrect. The MagGuts conversions for the Kahr 6 round magazine add one round for a 7 round capacity.
Again, the MagGuts conversion for the Kahr 9mm magazines will add one round of capacity, not two.
We apologize for this error. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns by responding to this email.
Best Regards,

I knew it was too good to be true. Not that I don’t still want to try it.
I've also been given to understand that they require the use of the original base plate. I'd like to know if that's true or not if anyone has already tried'em out.
Otherwise...when I get more serious, (and read some first hand experiences that these work without "issues")..I'll try it with what I have a we'll all know.
Got mine installed on my p9. I'm going GB to order another for it and a couple for my pm9.

Would love to hear a post range review on these. Very interested. Also would be interested in a 40S&W and 45 ACP version.
I haven't gotten around to installing mine yet. I got on a revolver kick and haven't drifted back.
Backside shows how the parts are installed
The "spring" is a three piece affair, but the parts are attached to one another
The cup is attached to the round wire spring via an tab on either end that is crimped around the spring
The flat wire spring is attached to the cup with what appears to be a brass rivet
The round spring engages a notch on the front of the follower. This appears made to keep both parts in the magazine tube
When assembling the magazine the flat wire spring is difficult to compress and hold in place while sliding the base plate over it. The spring goes in at angle because of how it is riveted to the "cup" and has some very point corners (that could cause damage to meat tools. I ended up compressing the spring as far as I could, then sliding a punch through the witness holes in the magazine tube. I could then position my hands to compress the spring enough to slide the base plate home.
Range stuff to follow
