Every day at 4. I come in a bit before to see what the episode is about. I've seen most several times. If I remember it's a good one, I watch. Before that is Bonanza and Rifleman. I've seen most of those as well, try not to watch as I'd never get anything done watching TV all afternoon.

Some of my co-workers years ago in Florida would often come over to my apartment after work (second shift).
And we would always watch "Wanted Dead or Alive"

Winchester Model 1892 "Mare's Leg"

A shortened version of the Winchester Model 1892 saddle ring carbine known affectionately as the "Mare's Leg" is the main firearm used by Josh Randall (Steve McQueen) throughout the duration of the show, chambered in .44-40 (despite the large .45-70 rounds on his belt). The first version of this gun was a rounded barrel model with a D shaped loop, which was later changed to an octagonal version with a tear drop loop. Randall is seen keeping his Mare's Leg holstered on his thigh.

I have the Uberti version of that Mares Leg in 45 Colt. Handy little gun, not easy to shoot, at least for me. Fun but tough to get decent groups. More nostalgia I reckon.

Well gosh durned if I didn't win this beauty. Had to go a little more than I'd hoped but still a lot less than new or any other used ones I've seen.
I'm already hankering for a Big Boy 44. In fact I almost pushed the button on one for a lot less than this. Didn't figure I'd win. If I had, I'd be in deep ca ca. Probably in shallow ca ca anyhow, but hey I wanted this for a long time right?

Figured the picture would come too but yall know what I'm talking about.

Mine is a little worse for wear though after being cut down into a “carbine” by some Mexican vaquero in the back room of a cantina somewhere in Old Mexico maybe 150+ years ago.

That thing is absolutely gorgeous though. The genuine original real thing. Sad being cut down but still beautiful. Savor it! Did they not put a front sight back on, can't see it in the photo's.
