They are very comfortable and work well with I.W.B. carry. No snag and not abrasive on skin.

    This is my 357 snub-nose (M640-1)

But for carry I prefer my M65-3 3" 357 with a pair of JetLoader SpeedLoaders -

I enjoy cleaning bolt action rifles, AR styles, not so much.

The Ruger Gunsite Scout and the Ruger SFAR are great rifles, but they offer different things depending on your preferences. If you like a classic bolt-action, the Gunsite Scout is fantastic—lightweight, easy to carry, and reliable. It's an excellent choice for hunting or just a solid-range gun.

On the other hand, the SFAR is more of a semi-auto, so if you're into quick follow-up shots or tactical use, it might suit you better. It’s built more for modern versatility. Both rifles are solid, but it comes down to whether you want that old-school bolt action or the semi-auto speed. I lean towards the Gunsite Scout for its simplicity and how easy it is to get the parts for it. Check out sites like revolver parts for more info if you are considering upgrades!

Well as I said before. I have had both [had a Scout several years ago] and prefer the SFAR. I had a 1-4 Trijicon Accupoint on it and recently switched it out to a 2.5-10 Trijicon Accupoint. Works great. [I will have to get UPDATED picture].

I baby sat about 35 AR's during my time at the PD. Never cared for cleaning those things. I have a very nice Armalite with all the stuff on it. I should take it apart and see if I remember anything. I don't think I've shot it 100 times.
Guess I should get it out and shoot it some more, cleaning is a necessary evil.
