Fingers crossed, I'm bidding on this beauty. I'm pretty sure the snipers will out do me in the end but I'm trying. Might get lucky. I was leaning towards 45 Colt since I load that, this is 44-40 which is what they were originally. Expensive ammo but what the heck.
Well heck, won't let me post a picture of it. I'll work on it.

Not sure this is ok to post the link, lost my rule book. If wrong, I'll fire myself.

Nobody's going to fire you Bawanna, that's for sure - LOL!
We don't need no stinking rule book around here anyway

    That's a beautiful Henry.
Here's luck to you getting it!

I've thought about a Big Boy in 44 Magnum to go with my S&W 629-2 44 Magnum revolver -

They are also making a lever action in 556 NATO or 308 Winchester that has my eye as well -

I think a Big Boy in 44 would be excellent, thought about one of those also. I have a 45/70 Brass frame and two 22's, one for the missus and one she got me for Christmas. Sweet shooter and very slick actions.
I guess I'm hung up on Wagon Train where Flint the scout carried one for a while.
    Too much TV?.......

That 308 is a looker too and would make sense for a hunter. I like the looks of the Big Boy better but the 308 is growing on me quite rapidly.

Every day at 4. I come in a bit before to see what the episode is about. I've seen most several times. If I remember it's a good one, I watch. Before that is Bonanza and Rifleman. I've seen most of those as well, try not to watch as I'd never get anything done watching TV all afternoon.
